Field Service Technician - Queensland

Job Description:

We have an exciting role as a Field Service Technician within our Australian business, available for an enthusiastic and motivated trade-qualified mechanic keen to join a supportive and collaborative team on a full-time basis. 

This position involves utilizing your technical skills and experience as a tradesperson to repair and maintain ground support equipment, aircraft jacks and other airport related equipment in airports within Queensland. Your role will include travelling to regional airports and following service guidelines and data as well as repair and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard. The variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment means there is an opportunity to bring a wide collection of knowledge, skills, and experience to the role.

What we offer:

SIGN ON BONUS up to $3000 (guaranteed $1000: if you have up to 2 years airport GSE experience $2000, if you have over 2 years airport GSE experience $3000)

Position Requirements:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate

  • Must hold a current driver’s license

  • Experience in diesel engines and electrical fault finding preferred

  • Experience in Hydraulics would be an advantage

  • Willingness to undertake ASIC background checks for security access

  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical check
