GSE Technician – London Gatwick Airport

Join our team as a GSE Technician at London Gatwick Airport. You will undertake vehicle repairs and maintenance, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines and the ISO 9001 framework. We're looking for a proactive, organised team player with a flexible, professional approach.

Shift Pattern
4 on, 4 off
Hours of Work
Early: 06:00 – 18:00
Late: 11:00 – 23:00

🎬 What you will be doing

  • Repair vehicles and plants as requested

  • Conduct inspections, brake and smoke tests, and report defects

  • Diagnose and inform Supervisor of required work and parts

  • Complete electronic job updates accurately

  • Request parts from Stores timely

  • Label and shelve parts correctly

  • Report defective tooling immediately

  • Follow all safety rules and procedures

🕵 We are looking for someone who

  • Has motor mechanics knowledge

  • Is analytical, numerate, with good communication skills

  • Understands TCR procedures and systems

  • Is customer-oriented and service-focused

  • Knows health and safety regulations

Experience:

  • Operational vehicle/logistical background

  • Experience in a customer-focused environment

  • Vehicle maintenance sector experience

Qualifications:

  • Motor Mechanics – LGV

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in motor mechanics

  • Forklift (desirable)
