Permanent, full time position
We have an exciting role as Fabricator within our Australian business, available for an experienced mechanic with strong initiative and work ethic to join a supportive and collaborative team on a full-time basis. Our Sydney team comprises 40 talented full-time staff (and growing). The team has developed a healthy and vibrant working environment with daily operations running with clear and effective systems, procedures, equipment, and people with an overarching commitment to safety through Zero Harm principles.
You will report daily to the Shift Supervisor however will ultimately be under the management of the State Service Manager. Your role involves following service guidelines and data as well as repair and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.

The GSE term encompasses all equipment used in aviation ground operations, such as; push-back tractors, loaders, tractors, belt loaders, catering trucks, ground power units and air starter units, tow-bars, trailers-dollies, baggage carts, and other general equipment in an airport.

Position Requirements:
Relevant Trade Qualification in Welding/Fabrication/Boiler Maker/Vehicle Builder
Previous experience with aluminium welding to AS/NZS 1665
Previous experience with basic vehicle maintenance repair work (Re-packing bearings, trailer servicing)
Must hold a current Driver's License
Willingness to undertake ASIC background checks for security access
Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical check
COVID-19 Vaccination completed
