Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems related to heavy machinery, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems in heavy machinery.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

  • Installing, upgrading, and maintaining electrical components such as wiring, sensors, and control systems.

  • Conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems meet safety and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborating with mechanics and engineers to coordinate repairs and modifications as needed.

  • Documenting electrical maintenance and repair activities for record-keeping purposes.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Machinery Electrician or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems in heavy equipment, including motors, circuits, and PLCs.

  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting electrical problems.

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

  • Certification or formal training in electrical systems for heavy machinery is preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
