TCR UK Ltd are market leaders within the field of Ground Service Equipment repair and maintenance, and is part of TCR Group, the leading global provider of integrated solutions for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in aviation.
This role covers the stores environment, to receive, store, issue and record the traceability of all materials, fluid, equipment, spares, tools, PPE, consumables, and client provided materials on the site.
The Role:
Materials Issue
To identify and understand the requirement of the technician
Provide prompt and courteous counter service for personnel calling in at stores to collect items
Respond to telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner
Issue materials to the GSE Technicians, ensuring that all paperwork is signed off correctly
Purchase from local suppliers as and when required
Pick and pack stock orders ready for delivery to outstations
Ensure parts are correctly scanned onto ELC (in-house software used to manage the day to day business)
Deliver materials/equipment/items to shop floor/work areas as required
Updating Supervisor regularly with the pending parts status
Goods Inward
Check and Receipt of deliveries to site
Unload delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner
Drive company Fork Lift Truck (dependent on licence)
Day to day organisation of a goods received quarantine area
Notify suppliers immediately of any damaged goods or short shipments
New stock items to be located and labelled as required
Stock Control
Participate in stock counts and reconciliation against ELC inventory
Ensure stock items have appropriate bar codes attached always
Ensure full traceability of all stored materials/items
Ensure all items are appropriately stored for their size and weight
Skills and Experience:
Customer oriented and service delivery focused
An understanding of stores procedures and systems, with experience gained in a vehicle, plant or machinery parts/stores environment
Good level of literacy and numeracy, with developed IT skills
Team orientated
The Shift:
Monday to Friday – 0800h to 1630h
You will need to:
Be able to demonstrate your Right To Work in the UK
Be able to obtain an airside pass which will require you to undergo a criminal record check and 5-year history verification
Hold a valid UK driving license
